About

If you are interested in athletics of any form, sprinting, middle distance running, throwing, jumping or distance running on the track, road or cross country then Cheltenham & County Harriers could be the club for you. The age of our members is varied, from those aged 9 to those that enjoy the sport during their retirement.

The club aims to help athletes of all abilities to enjoy the sport and achieve their own personal targets. Our members have a wide range of abilities, ranging from beginners trying the sport for the first time with the aim of completing an event, to our highest standard athletes who have competed internationally in schools, senior and masters athletics. The majority of our members seek to keep themselves fit and enjoy training and competing, whilst setting their own athletics targets.

Cheltenham & County Harriers provides competitive opportunities for its members and values the idea of competing as part of a team. All age groups regularly compete in track and field, road and cross country events, whilst our youngest members also enjoy sportshall athletics matches.

The club has a range of qualified coaches who are able to give guidance across all athletics events. All coaches are UK athletics registered and have been DBS checked. Cheltenham & County Harriers has clubmark accredited status and is affiliated to the Gloucestershire AAA, Midland Counties AA, England Athletics and UK athletics.
