Club notices

Club AGM

It is almost a year since the last Harriers AGM, and the date has been set for this year’s meeting. It will take place on Friday 5th March 2021 at 7pm on Zoom, as sadly we are still unable to meet in person.

If you are curious to attend the meeting please contact Paul Wray via email: paul.wray126@gmail.com for the zoom link.
The detailed agenda will be published soon, and will include:
  • Chairman’s report
  • Club finance report
  • Election of club officers
  • Life membership nominations.
The Club is run by a committed group of volunteers and we need your support and assistance to help keep the Club running smoothly and successfully. There are lots of roles within the Club that we need people to help with, from being a member of the Club committee to more casual commitments assisting at our Club and League fixtures.

We welcome help from the Club community to assist us in achieving the success that our athletes, coaches and teams accomplish.

Your help is required now to help sustain the club in the future.

If you are able to offer some of your time and energy to help your Club please let Elliot Prince (the_next_generation369@hotmail.com) or Paul Wray know.

No specific skills are required, just a small amount of your time and enthusiasm. If you do have a special skill or talent and would like to offer help to the Club we would also like to hear from you.

There are a few roles on the Club committee that are available. If you would like to be considered for a particular role please contact Paul Wray for further details.

We look forward to seeing you at the AGM on Friday 5th March at 7pm.
Put the date in your diary and email Paul Wray (paul.wray126@gmail.com) NOW for the zoom link.

Chairman

Coronavirus & Training

Unfortunately, due to the new government announcement the Prince of Wales Stadium is closed until further notice.

People can exercise outdoors or visit some public outdoor places, such as parks, the countryside, public gardens or outdoor sports facilities. They can continue to exercise alone, or in a public outdoor place with their household, support bubble, or one other person.

We hope these measures are not needed for long and we can return to the stadium soon. In the mean time please contact your coaches directly for training advice and please keep safe.
