On Saturday Ruby Brook competed for the first time since January 2020 at the Nuneaton Spring Open. Having trained hard throughout each lockdown the long wait was made worthwhile with a big 300m personal best of 41.93. Brook’s previous best was almost 2 seconds slower and the impressive performance has moved her into the top 10 in the under 17 UK rankings. 

Also in Nuneaton Sulaiman Ouiles competed in the Javelin finishing 7th with a throw of 33.62.

On bank holiday Monday Isaac and Evie Henderson made the long trip up to Sheffield to competed in the run jump throw open. Isaac competed in the 3000m running a huge personal best of 9:08.53, an improvement of 21seconds on his previous best performance. Evie made her 1500m debut running an impressive 5:06.04.

Sunday saw a win for Nick Holliday at the Newbury 5km in the Vet60 category. The Harrier was 18th overall in a time of 18:49!
