Wednesday night saw three Harriers take part in race two of the Hereford 5k series. Ellis Woolley led the trio home in 20:08, her second quickest time ever. Woolley, paired up with Milly Foster, headed up a Harriers 1-2 in the female 10-14 age category. Foster finished in 21:31 a very impressive 56 second personal best. The third Harrier, Mell Schofield, also improved on her first round performance running 22:55, a 30 second PB.

On Saturday George Watson made the long trip up North in the wind and rain to the Trafford BMC. Despite the tough conditions the Loughborough Uni student was rewarded with a 29second PB finishing in a very impressive 14:20.49. Watson is now only 15seconds away from the Harriers club record.

By Sunday the rain had stopped but over at the Swindon Open strong winds still made for very challenging conditions. Mimi Davis made her 2021 debut, and first competition since 2019, in the under 17 javelin finishing 3rd with a PB throw of 35.56. The throw ranks her 11th in the early season rankings. On the track Kiya Dee battled the wind in the 3000m running 10:21.22.
