2nd Upper YDL 29/5/22 - Summary

The 2nd fixture of the season saw a small but strong team go all the way to Swansea. Some determined performances by the athletes saw them finish in 5th place. Here’s a few highlights…

  • Alfie Wood won A string Long jump and triple jumps with 6.70 and 12.28 respectively
  • Jessica Duncton won the A string U20 200m and long jump with 25.77 and 5.42 as well as winning the U17 80m hurdles with 11.44
  • A lot of PBs from the U17 men. Barnabas Shaw ran a 100m (12.24), 200m (24.68) and jumped a long jump (5.71) PB. Isaac Henderson ran an 800m and 3000m PB of 2:19.03 and 9:19.32, winning the A race for the 3000m too. George Quartermaine ran 400m (71.13) and 1500m (5:05.72) PBs. 
  • Lily Marchant ran a big 300m PB of 43.40
