Cheltenham Harriers Young Athletes team qualified for the Midland final after finishing in second place in the Midland Premier League Southern Division. In their final fixture at Cardiff it was the under 17 girls that stood out as the victorious 4×300m relay team of Bethan Skuse, Louise Ward, Katy Townsend and Katie Foward set a new club record of 2:57.8 despite being without Megan Bishop who had earlier won the 300m individual race in a personal best of 42.12 seconds. Anna Martin won the high jump with a pb clearance of 1.60m whilst there were also A string wins for Mollie Courtney with a 12.48 clocking in the 80m hurdles, Annabel Sherry with 12.48m in the shot and Kira Cooper with 30.16m in the javelin. For the under 17 boys Adam Dove won the shot with 9.16m whilst Melissa Bird won the under 15 girls discus with a distance of 27.64m. For the under 15 boys Scott Jones won the shot with 10.95m and discus with 31.17m whilst Imran Quereshi won the pole vault with a 2.70m clearance and long jump with 5.99m. Ben Clarke claimed a sprint double as he won the 100m in 12.09 and 200m in 24.12. For the under 13 boys Jamie Worman won the high jump with 1.45m.
