Masters International XC, 10/11/12

Martin Ford won the vet 65 race in the British and Irish Masters International match as he represented England in Belfast. In his final year in the age group, sixty-nine year old Ford regained the title he won in 2008 and 2009 in a close battle with England teammate Peter Young. Both athletes were credited with the same time with Ford just ahead of his rival. Two further Harriers were also selected to represent their countries with Steve Robinson placing tenth for England in the vet 55 age group and Ken Buckle finishing tenth for Wales in the vet 70 category.
