John Parker was the first veteran home as he led the Cheltenham Harriers team to victory at the Angels Running Club 10k at Ashleworth. Parker finished second overall, 24 seconds behind Severn AC’s Harry Bishop, as he recorded a time of 33:24 over the challenging course. Anthony Bailey followed in third place in 34:21 before marathon runners Elliot Prince and Dave Rantell finished sixth and seventh in times of 36:23 and 37:07 respectively. Steve Linton made it five Harriers in the top ten with a 38:24 clocking before Paul Barnes (41:03), Jamie Courtenay (48:32) and Ken Buckle (51:34) completed the Cheltenham contingent. James Bingham won his third Cheltenham parkrun at Pittville Park with a 16:55 clocking that saw him finish 46 seconds clear of teammate Dmitry Nazarenko. Miguel Mundinano took fourth in 18:02, one place ahead of Chris Perrett who clocked 18:16. Steve Hall recorded 18:31 for eighth before Gareth Edwards ran a course pb of 19:03 for tenth and youngster Fraser Wilmore impressed with 19:17.
