Jay Dowding put in a good performance to set a personal best time of 77:45 for ninth place in the Stroud Half Marathon. Steve Hall ran a controlled 83:57 as he warmed up for next weekend’s New York Marathon before Ian Giles came home in 84:51. There was a PB of 85:15 for Steve Stretton, with Richard Birch following in 86:16. Martin Ford was the first over 60 runner home in 88:21 as he posted the fastest V70 time in the UK this year. Paul Barnes (89:15), Dave Hemmings (97:53) and Debbie Smith (1:45:42) completed the Harriers contingent.

Dmitry Nazarenko claimed his sixteenth Cheltenham parkrun win with a 16:51 clocking that saw him finish 29 seconds ahead of veteran John Parker who took second place. Ben Williams came home fourth in 17:52 and Dave Rantell claimed sixth in 18:12. The Harriers also had two of the top six ladies home with Olivia Rook second in 20:43 and Molly Powlesland sixth in 21:39. Julia Cooke was the first lady home at the Cannon Hill parkrun in Birmingham with a time of 17:48 that placed her seventh overall whilst Andy Prophett finished fifth in the Southampton parkrun in 17:40.
