There were personal bests for Phil Beastall and Dave Aubrey at the Severn AC Easter 10k road race. Beastall finished second behind the host club’s Harry Bishop as he lowered his pb to 32:42, whilst Aubrey clocked 35:20 for ninth place. Beth Hawling set a 1500m pb of 4:49.93 at the Oxford Open Meeting where Steve Maguire set a 3000m pb of 9:52.9. Maguire then made it three pbs in thirteen days with a time of 37:01 at the Yeovil 10k. A strong Harriers contingent ran at the Cheltenham parkrun with Anthony Bailey taking the win in 16:22, a time that only teammates Dave Roper and James Brewer have bettered at the Pittville Park event. Jeremy Bradley also lowered his best time on the course as he finished second in 16:35 to move up to fifth on the events ranking list. Dmitry Nazaraenko took fourth in 17:47 as he finished one place ahead of veteran Miguel Mundinano who recorded 17:50. Steve Hall placed seventh in 18:04 and Ben Williams took eleventh in 18:28.
