James Brewer posted the second fastest time recorded at the Cheltenham parkrun as he became the thirteenth Harrier to win the event. With conditions far from ideal on the grass section of the course, Brewer crossed the line first in 15:55, a time 13 seconds slower than teammate Dave Roper’s course record. Mike Gray took third in 17:57, with Gavin McCaugherty fifth in 18:19, Matt Evans sixth in 18:23 and Dmitry Nazarenko seventh in 18:36. Youngsters George Hawthorne (20:13) and Luke Kearns (20:16) followed before Conor Kearns lowered his personal best to 22:28. Jamie Courtenay (23:34), Ben Sluman (25:28), Adrian Courtenay (26:45) and Jessica Smith (26:56) also took part in the 5km event.
